Teach First’s Belonging Schools Report

Teach First is England’s largest teacher training programme, with a mission to ensure that no child’s socio-economic background determines their educational success. In this report, they asked two questions:

1. What does ‘inclusion’ mean to pupils, teachers, and leaders?

2. How do relatively more inclusive secondary schools approach and practise inclusion?

Street Smart’s Rituals Toolkit for Belonging

This mini toolkit from Street Smart, a social impact hybrid organisation, is designed to offer youth workers the tools to work on the topics of belonging and rituals. Feeling part of something bigger helps reduce anxiety and stress, leads to better performance, and helps to feel connected with others. The toolkit provides guidelines and methods for youth workers to implement rituals to foster belonging in their day-to-day practice. The toolkit consists of two components.
